"During this [the 20th] century's wars, there were some 38 million battle deaths, but almost four times more people -- at least 170 million -- were killed by governments for ethnic, racial, tribal, religious, or political reasons. I call this phenomenon democide, and it means that authoritarian and totalitarian governments are more deadly than war." --R.J. Rummel, author of Death by Government

"We speak from personal experience -- our group includes men who served beside Kerry in combat as well as his commanders. Though we come from different backgrounds and hold varying political opinions, we agree on one thing: John Kerry misrepresented his record and ours in Vietnam and therefore exhibits serious flaws in character and lacks the potential to lead." --Swift Boat Veterans for Truth

Welcome to RussP.org by Russ Paielli. The features button on the header panel will lead you to some of my rantings writings. The links button will lead you to some great websites, and the books button will lead you to some amazing books. Check my fabulous quotes page too!

Don't miss my article "Case Closed?" about the JFK assassination. It is a critical review of the book Case Closed by Gerald Posner, which received tremendous media coverage around the 30th anniversary of the assassination. The article also provides a synopsis of the entire episode. You will be amazed!

Also, be sure to see my other website at ElectionMethods.org. Election methods are the mathematical rules by which we choose our leaders. Our current plurality system has entrenched us into a two-party duopoly without effective competition from other parties. A simple expansion of voting rights can give voters badly needed additional choices.
